    After selling Compass FM to NYSE & JSE listed MiX Telematics in 2014, Ken then launched two new companies in the fuel security and IOT space.

    Ken launched TankSafe South Africa - TISS SA (Pty) Ltd which is a 50/50 Joint Venture with TISS Ltd - United Kingdom. TankSafe has designed, developed, and sold over 1.8 million TankSafe diesel anti-siphon devices worldwide to OEMs, Truck Dealers, Distributors and Truck Owners.

    Stopping diesel theft and fraud are the quickest and most cost-effective ways for truck owners to make more profit.

    Ken also launched Fleet Best Practice – a continuation of the Best Practices Solutions they created at Compass FM. IOT companies gather lots of data to identify problems, but they and their clients struggle to use this information to change behaviour, leaving fleet owners frustrated that they don't get the desired ROI.

    Fleet Best Practice develops value added solutions for MiX Telematics, Tectra Telematics, and their Customers.

    Reynard is an innovative engineer with a bachelors in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in mechatronic engineering.

    After finishing his studies he started a venture with two partners, developing fully automic surveillance and security drones which gave him valuable experience in product development and production.

    Reynard has partnered with iWantFuel to develop technology that provides integral solutions that hasn’t been seen within the petroleum industry in South Africa.

    His driven and entrepreneurial mindset ensures that he reaches the goals set out before him always maintaining an “it can be done” attitude.

    He is easy to get along with and works well in team environments and with clients. He values respect, humility and hard work.

    Jacques Wheeler

    Jacques started his career as a Gencor Junior Engineer in 1989 and subsequent Electrical Engineer on numerous sites in the Gencor group including: Buffelsfontein GM, Matla Coal, Impala Platinum, Gencor Engineering & Technologies and Samancor. He first realized his passion for projects when he joined a Project/Risk Management Company in 1999.

    They championed various High-Risk projects in the heavy engineering arena including the 28MW round furnace at Lonmin (Western Platinum) with HATCH Africa as a Multi-disciplinary Project Engineer, for which they received an Award of Excellence. Subsequently they have set up numerous client based Project Offices built on measurable Service Level Agreements. Projects completed include Corporate Centre Redesign Project involving Ingwe & Energy Coal, Corporate refurbishment project at 6 Hollard street, New Witbank Corporate head office for BHP Billiton, PMO start-ups for Metalloys, HMM, Middelburg mines, Wessels Mine and Mamatwan Mine. Numerous Project services for SIOC, Kumba, Exxaro, BHP Billiton, Glencor, South32, CES and many more.

    Jacques entered the Fuel and Energy arena in 2015 in various management and executive roles in a very agile environment. Property and Strategic development were included into his portfolio including the residential, industrial and retail development arena.

    Rochelle became a Petroleum Licensing Consultant as remembrance to her father who dedicated 15 years to this industry.

    Rochelle believes that you can have knowledge about your field but experience is everything, the petroleum industry is a complicated industry but with knowledge and experience you can overcome anything.

    Rochelle believes that every client should be treated like she wants to be treated by a business, with honesty, integrity and value. Every client is important.
